Its always much more competitive in deeper formatted fantasy baseball leagues and so you have to do your best in order to stay on top of things more so than in a shallower format.? I never recommend these types of leagues if you dont have the ability to check the latest news at least a few times a day since you wont be able to grab the hot names due to injuries or promotions.? Be that as it may, here are some names to keep your attention to for this week.
JP Arencibia (C):? Arencibia is currently at 6 home runs on the season and it wasnt until recently where he started playing everyday.? Those in two catcher formats should already be on board as its looking like he will continue to play if he keeps hitting.
Ramon Hernandez (C):? Hernandez is hitting well over .300 and has 5 homers.? He has been in a time share with Ryan Hannigan but this is a guy who is a proven 15 homer hitter when he gets the at-bats.? Its entirely possible he gains more playing time as the season goes on if he keeps it up.
Todd Helton (1B):? Helton is not even close to the player he was back in his prime but the current edition is still decent enough.? He will likely top out at around 12-15 homers but he is a proven .300 hitter who will yield nice amounts of RBI.? The perfect CI or UTIL bat you never have to worry about.
